The First photograph
The first photograph was made in 1790 by Thomas Wedgwood, but the oldest surviving photograph was made by Joseph Nicephore Niepc in 1826 in France. The first photograph is on display now at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin, Texas since 2010. I think that the first photo was not very clear and unimpressive. Im surprised that it stayed intact for so long. It makes me think if there were any earlier photographs that have not been found yet.
